Ginos — Restaurant in Valencia

I have never experienced a worse restaurant visit. We were in the science museum and wanted to go there to eat lunch with our toddler, as there was the possibility to eat glutenfree. There were (at all times) at least 8 free tables!! However, we had to wait in line for 45mins to be seated - with all this free tables! Thats just a No-Go! Imagine being with a hungry toddler…. After we have finally been seated, we ordered and had to wait an incredible long time for the food. After 2h in total with no food, we wanted to stand up and go. But then the food came. The normal pizza was good, but the glutenfree was not good at all! But we were so hungry… they have a very bad organization in this restaurants. The waiters were talking a long time with customers while others were waiting but making empty handed rounds instead of cleaning off the tables. I really didnt get the logic of their work. The waitress brought my toddler something to draw which was kinda nice. But when opening it, its was already been used my another child and had some food from the previous child in there. Also this disgusted me. It was not worth any cent and I would recommend anyone to look for alternatives. Mc Donalds would have been 100x better. We waisted our whole afternoon there. In this time we could have done something much better then to wait for low...

My recent experience at Gino's was nothing short of disastrous, leaving me deeply disappointed and questioning their basic competence. From the moment we sat down, it was a comedy of errors that left me questioning if they'd ever served a customer before.

It began with our waitress, who seemed to vanish into thin air midway through taking our order. We were left stranded, menus in hand, wondering if we should flag down a passing pigeon for assistance. When someone finally reappeared, we were informed that they were out of gnocchi. A simple "86 gnocchi" to the kitchen staff would have saved us the disappointment.

The main course arrived, and to our astonishment, one of the plates was incorrect. Mistakes happen, we thought, giving them the benefit of the doubt. However, when the supposedly corrected dish arrived, it was again wrong, containing the exact same incorrect ingredients! It felt like we were trapped in a bizarre culinary Groundhog Day.

This level of incompetence is simply unacceptable. Gino's managed to fail on multiple levels, from absent-minded service to an apparent inability to read their own menu. I strongly advise avoiding this establishment unless you're looking for a masterclass in how not to run...
