After reading the reviews I was quite hopeful about this place. But my main issue over everything was the cleanliness of the whole place. It's filthy!
The wooden napkin box on the table was so dirty I didn't even want to use a napkin from it. And I'm not talking a bit dusty. I'm talking about weeks of not being cleaned. The amazing thing is.. there were 2 members of staff on. They were sat at a table inside and taking selfies on their phones. What they should have been doing, because we were the only table in there.. was cleaning! The place is genuinely filthy.
Now for the food.
So the burger I had was very tasty. But was it worth the price tag for just a burger on its own? The answer is no. We also had plant based nuggets and veggie dumplings. And the price charged for the standard of food did match up. And after looking at all the photos online something has definitely changed. The food we received was all in throw away cardboard boxes. No plates.
It just felt like a lazy menu in a dirty environment. Really disappointed. When Honest Greens opens in the city. This place needs to step...
Read moreI went to this restaurant and got the potato and cheese appetizer first of all when you walk up it’s beautiful with a lot of different plants. They said crispy on the menu but they were more of a squishy texture. Still good though. When you go inside there’s a little library and a cozy area to sit. I chose to sit outside so I could people watch and enjoy the sun. The wait staff were really friendly and told me that I could see myself and immediately came to serve me. It has a lovely atmosphere and many vegan and vegetarian choices for food including different toasts, potatoes, and more! it is located in Ruzafa which is a part of Valencia with a ton of restaurants and bars. I took the bus from Patacona and walked from the teatre principal bus stop. I didn’t finish my food so they gave me a to go container. There were some other people there hanging out outside with their dogs and friends. I would love to go back here and try some of the toasts. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking for chill vibes...
Read moreThe food is usually very good and follows the seasons, but the service is unbelievably slow every time. On a Saturday afternoon we arrived at 3.30pm. We were told it would take at least 30 minutes to get the food. People in other tables had to wait 90 minutes to get two plates out of six, and another table got one plate out of three. They served three tables at once but only one plate for each table. If the food wasn't so good, this restaurant wouldn't have much hope.
Something needs to be changed fast, Jardin Urbano 😪 You are one of the only restaurants open on Saturdays the whole day, so you should take better advantage of the situation and hire more workers and/or organise the way of working a lot better. Otherwise people, even vegans, will stop coming if they know they always have to wait...
