Lovely small boutique hotel in the city center of Valencia. Very affordable, clean and convenient with fantastic, helpful team members. During our stay, we found it to be a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Breakfast was convenient and satisfying, available for a small fee. There are also several breakfast spots nearby, but be advised they open a bit later in the morning. A few tips for booking a room: Garden level rooms have glass sliding doors for their entry, which open up on a private courtyard, if you prefer something else, with a more secure feeling, book a room higher up, with a regular door. We had no issues at all, but if I were a female traveling alone anywhere in the world, I might prefer a "regular" door entry. Also, the two ground units use a humidifier as they are below grade, common for older buildings. If this is a concern, book a higher unit. We had no issues, and our garden room was lovely, clean and modern, with a separate sitting room and a huge bathroom. A/C was modern and flawless. ||The team here is absolutely helpful and friendly. Our checkout morning coincided with the horrific and tragic flooding from storm Dana, and as such, all transport out of the city was canceled, and as a result, all hotel rooms were being gobbled up. Since they were at capacity, the team at the hotel kindly assisted us in obtaining a room elsewhere at another lovely property, where we were able to book the last available room. They did this in spite of it being an incredibly hectic and difficult morning for the people of Valencia. ||We highly recommend ABCyou as a great (and affordable) place to stay in Valencia. Book direct with them for best pricing and...
Read moreWe have spent 3 nights (23-26.03.23) in a double room facing the street. The room was not maintened at all, looking old and dirty. As for the bathroom, If you are not enough slim, you might not able to take a shower. The biggest problem is the NOISE from the street which is unbearable during the day (cars), during the early morning when the garbage truck taking the bins (just below the room's windows) when the whole room starting to vibrate and shake. And the during the night (Friday/Saturday evenings) next to the so-called hotel, there is a disco bar, where the guys till 6 am, are laughing, talking, drinking, crying on the street. In fact no a minute to rest even when you closed tightly the windows. We have tried to change the room, it was not possible, moreover I asked during the reservation to have a quiet room. My recomedation is to explore any other possibilities before going to...
Read moreThe hotel in itself is nice, the rooms are big and spacious and beds are comfortable, staff is friendly too. The problem is the building is old and there’s no sound proofing. There’s signs up asking people to be quiet between 11-8 am but the issue wasn’t people talking loudly it was the people staying above us that were up at 7:30 am stomping around like a group of elephants. They also had a child with them who ran around the room all morning long. Nothing could drown out the noise of their loud footsteps that started at 7:30 AM and did not stop. We brought a sound machine with us and even it could not drown out the noise. We were very disappointed as we had booked a later train the next day with intentions of sleeping in but couldn’t. If you would like to actually rest at the hotel you’re staying at, I would...
