Place is decent but not sure what the hype is about it. This place doesn’t take reservations and it’s always packed with people from the moment it’s open. The options are good and the food is ok but nothing spectacular. Been meaning to try this place for some time but with no way to make reservations it’s always a gamble whether you will get a table or not. We added our name to the list but the waiter couldn’t tell us how long we would need to wait (an hour or more or less would have been enough). So you literally have no idea if you will get a table that night or not. In the end we managed to get one in about 30min. But as mentioned. Not sure what the hype is about the place. The dishes were fine but nothing to rave about. The service seemed very rushed and the dishes all came out and random times I.e. mains before starter etc. if you’re happy to wait around to try and get a table, the place is decent and the prices are reasonable but there are better places around with better service and better...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tora Taberna in Russafa, Valencia, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal. Everything I tried was truly delicious, from the appetizers to the main courses, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The starters were fresh and well-prepared, the first course was absolutely satisfying, and the dessert was the perfect sweet finish to the evening. We’re visiting from the UK and stumbled upon this restaurant on the way to dinner at another place. But we just knew we had to stop and dine here instead and it blew us away!

Authentic Japanese cuisine in the heart of Valencia. The wait staff were super friendly and hospitable and the food was up there with the best we have had in a while. Not to mention it was super affordable. And don’t be deterred by the small menu, the selection is small but perfect.
