Not only that, she brought a small bin of treats for us to give him, as well as a bowl of water. I ordered the house red wine and my husband ordered a tap beer. Great quality and value! For dinner, we had the mini pulled pork sandwich and the fancy grilled cheese with brie, sundried tomatoes, and tapenade. DELICIOUS! Tacos were also very tasty. It’s a shame they only come in 4; I wish I could order them individually because I ended up eating more than I wanted to.
More than once I saw the kitchen put a meal on the counter, ring the bell for service, and then the food would just sit there for 1-5 minutes, cooling off. My taco order was victim of this too, and it felt really bad to be served a lukewarm dish, especially because it was a quiet night and staff was available. Brutal. A table of five next to us left because they did not receive any service for 10-15 minutes. We - foolishly - stayed.
The food was fine, but the service was truly so bad. We ordered four mains and a couple of drinks... 2 hours.
We asked for the check and the waiter legitimately disappeared for 20 minutes. We were one of three tables at the time. We asked the chef if we could pay. She graciously stopped to help us.
