Pans & Company — Restaurant in Valencia

Normally, I’ve always enjoyed going to this Pans location—the service has usually been very friendly. However, today was a very different and disappointing experience. I slightly moved my table to get some shade, and a lady from the service staff suddenly started yelling at me. Unfortunately, there was a language barrier, and instead of trying to communicate calmly, she raised her voice even louder. I found her behavior extremely rude and unprofessional, especially toward a paying customer. What made it worse was that other local customers moved their tables afterward and were not reprimanded at all. This inconsistency makes me feel like I was treated unfairly, perhaps due to some personal bias or prejudice against my nationality. If any corporate representatives are reading this, I sincerely ask that you review the behavior and training of your staff. People on vacation come to relax—not to be shouted at or made to feel unwelcome. This experience was a sharp and unpleasant contrast to the incredibly friendly people I've met...

Food quality wise it is what it is: Pans. If you've eaten their food you know what to expect. The thing that really turned me off about this specific establishment is how SLOW the staff were. The store is set in such a way that the waiting line blocks the main entrance, because people clog the doorway.

Everyone behind the counter goes as slowly as they can, everything takes ages, from putting a single sandwich in a paperbag to serving a single coffee. I asked for a glass of water and the guy had to go upstairs to get bottled water (I didn't ask for it to be room temperature or anything like that, I just wanted water).

Imagine being outside with 35° right under the sun, drenched in sweat and surrounded by sweaty people with the sun relentlessly frying you from above for twenty...

This place had good vegan options! Staff was helpful, but i guess understaffed and a bit stressed. I usually start by checking the toilets before a restaurnt visit, if the toilets are tidyy then the food is also at least hygeic. So locks dont work, soap is broken, toilet paper broken, lights dont work and the toilet hadnt been cleaned that whole tay at least. The amount of garbage on the restaurant floor, and outside near the beach, is crazy, i have never seen this amount of filth in a restaurant before. How is workers and owners not ashamed of this, this is disgusting, and made my meal repulsive. We ate it and it was ok, they day after im not sick, so its probably fine. But i would never eat here again. Good...
