Holy moly. We've been here a couple times and gotten the bo and it's delicious. This evening we came and got pho.
My husband got the vegetarian pho and it was everything he had hoped it would be: hot, tasty, and full of tofu.
I got the spicy pho. It had two chilies next to it in the menu to let me know, "thar be dragons" but I love spicy food and I've lived in Spain long enough to ignore any and all spice warnings because they're all a lie.
My husband's pho arrived and I eyed up the little dish of chili peppers, planning on stealing them when my soup arrived.
Minutes later, they delivered my delicious dish. It was red with little bits of sausage in it. I started with the sausage and... oh my, that had some kick to it. The sausage? No. The broth. I had a sip of broth. Y'all, it's literally liquid fire.
I started tearing up. Huh. That's different. Oh, a cough? That's... concerning...
After chowing through the sausage and a bunch of noodles, I started going to town on the broth. A few spoonfuls in, mid brain-malfunction, I inhaled some broth and started coughing again. A sip of water. More coughing. Oh no, everybody's staring... more coughing... Eventually I made eye contact with the waitress who mouthed, "It's spicy, huh?" And I could only cough in agreement.
I gave up after half a bowl. I'm trying not to take it as a loss since I usually only eat about half a bowl of pho, but I definitely felt defeated.
Buyer beware: spicy...
Read moreAs a Vietnamese I tried phở everywhere I go😁, from Paris to Valencia, or Santa Ana Los Angeles to UK This time I ordered "phở bò viên" large. (Meatballs phở.) Husband rice with duck.
The broth was good, enough flavor and fresh. The broth had to be overnight I think, or else you won't have the umami taste in your mouth. My husband dish was excellent. Especially the duck. Tender, soft...not too dry. Very good.
Compliments to the chef.👍
There crew, one young lady and what older woman, I think mommy and daughter were running around to make sure all the customers have their foods and drinks. With friendliness and huge smiles, nobody has to wait long.
Anyway, really recommend this place.
Well done phở mì Thank you and see...
Read moreWe love vietnamese food and there aren't many great places where you can find it in Valencia. When we saw this new place we definitely wanted to give it a try, and oh boy, am I glad we did. We had the fresh and fried spring rolls, and they were great. Besides that, We both had a version of the beef pho and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was outstanding and it came with fresh toppings like bean sprouts, cilantro, mint, lime, and actual spicy fresh red chillies. On top of the delicious food, the service was impeccable with our hostess just being an absolute sweetheart. I would 100% recommend if you like vietnamese food, and I can't wait to go back and try their...
