VIPS — Restaurant in Valencia

The Vips restaurant in the Saler shopping center in Valencia offers a pleasant ambience, but the food has light and shade. The presentation of the food is attractive, as you can see in the pictures, but some dishes lack taste and quality.

The egg dishes were okay, but the sauce was too dominant and overpowered the other flavors. Especially negative was the fact that many dishes tasted like ready-made sauces and processed convenience food. The huevos rancheros were visually appealing, but the side dishes, such as the beans and avocado, could have been fresher.

The service was friendly, but a bit slow, even when the restaurant was not full. I would have expected more for the price. A good option for...

Es un lugar muy agradable para desayunar, comer, merendar o cenar. El trato al cliente es muy atento, respetuoso y educado. Las unicas pegas que tengo que ponerles y lo hago, porque ya me ha pasado tres veces es.... La primera.... realizo un pedido, en concreto de un sándwich, con su complemento de patatas gajo y a su vez pido dos complementos más, pechuga de pollo y un extra de patatas gajo. Pues bien, en los tres últimos pedidos, parece que en cocina el complemento "extra" de patatas, siempre lo obvian. Me ha tocado reclamar al encargado de turno y que me las pongan. Hasta ayer, me lo daban y asunto arreglado. Pero lo de ayer, fue de vergüenza.....porque me pusieron un vasito pequeño con 8 patatas gajo, literal!!....y es un extra que estás abonando en tu pedido. Por tanto, si hacéis un pedido, no os vayáis de allí sin revisarlo bien y que no os "roben" a la cara!!!! Mejorar este aspecto, porque acostumbro a hacer pedidos y la próxima vez revisaré conciencudamente mi pedido, para que no me toméis el pelo. La segunda pega que les pongo, es que tienen una terraza preciosa y amplia, pero de adorno, con un letrero " VIPS MUY ABIERTO".....Y lo tienen casi siempre cerrado. Les dices para comer en ese lugar y todo son excusas...."no tenemos personal.... lo tenemos limpio y no queremos que lo ensucien"..... y me lo dice un camarero a las 22:30....cerrando a la 1:00, siendo tres camareros y el encargado de turno.....esas son ganas de trabajar y atender al cliente. Locales de comida hay muchos y más baratos, así que si no cuidan a sus clientes, sino más bien los espantan, no lloren cuando no...
