Bar restaurante La Escotilla — Restaurant in Vitoria-Gasteiz

What a terrible experience we had with a group of friends of 4!!! We decided to come for a lunch, ordered one daily menu (1 menu for 2 persons, which include 1 bottle of wine per each menu, as waiter convinced us). In the end, in the check they counted 2 menus ( 96 euros instead of 48 euros), we were surprised, as the amount of dishes was definitely not as per 2 menus, and… refused to add the 2nd bottle of wine. The so called chef tried to explain something, which was a total lie, as the waiter admitted his mistake by bad explanations. The restaurant has a Michelin 2020, and this is so big shame to have this cheating attitude to the clients. Highly not...

With 4 friends we have visited this place for a Sunday lunch and experienced a real cheating: first of all we have ordered 1 menu for 48 euros which included 1 bottle of wine(for 2 people,). Hemos pedido croquetas de jamón que si estaban buenas, después sepia encebollada con ali oli, las 2 raciones frías, una pena, y a partir de aquí todo a empeorar, los 2 arroces que hemos pedido el arroz de marisco y cremoso de rape y gambas flojas de sabor, flojas de cantidad y si a eso sumamos que la mitad del arroz está pegado al fondo, que no llega a socarrat, sino arroz pegado.. se queda en naa. Con un poco de esmero te lo haces en casa igual que el que me he comido, bueno... probado, por lo del tema de las cantidades. La vajilla en general sumamente desgastada, el cuchillo tenía una muesca levantada y me he hecho sangre con el pinchazo ,buffff .. En cuánto al servicio muy olvidadizo de nuestros pedidos, tampoco han sido muy amables, para la cantidad de camareros que hay, no están atentos a nada , bueno.. yo hablo por el camarero que nos ha tocado que estaba más pendiente el compañero que el nuestro. Pobre.. hoy ha trabajado por dos. En cuánto al precio para lo que he comido y ofrecen en general escaso y caro.
