After paying for our cocktails, staff accused us of not paying, then the owner (guy with blond hair and sunglasses) brought ā€œfreeā€ shots as an apology. Minutes after drinking them, my son couldnā€™t stand, and shortly after, I lost consciousness. My wife, who didnā€™t have the shots, was fine. Symptoms suggest possible drugging (Rohypnol). Iā€™ve since read similar reports about this bar. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The perfect night out for kareoke fans. Cheap drinks, happy excitable staff, supportive DJ and all round great vibe. The sound system and equalisation is tuned perfectly and is neither too quiet or so loud itā€™s clipping. Wife and I had our best evening of Lanzarote here, and weā€™re gutted we canā€™t fit in a second night. Bar Soho, we will return to the island some time in the future - until then keep up the sparkle-rainbow-glitter-chaos energy! šŸŽ¶ Karlos.

It was an incredibly uncomfortable and distressing situation, especially as we are a straight couple. We will never return and strongly advise others to avoid this place.

AVOID AT ALL COST!

We went in as a group of girls celebrating a hen do, bought drinks having a good time but the owner was immediately aggressive with us, came over to our table and was verbally aggressive to us asking us if we were just having fun or was going to pay for more drinks when we had just finished ours.

The owner snatched the karaoke microphones out of our hands and asked us to leave while the owners husband had cornered one of our friends and shouting abuse at her saying ā€œsee what happensā€.

If you are a group of girls definitely avoid, after we left they were having a fight with...

Now this is an amazing place to go. Friendly and welcoming staff, amazing venue and epic (seriously, epic) cocktails to boot. It was unfortunate about the karaoke and the caberet (due to level 2 rules), not being available. But hey, rules are rules. It was a fun place to hang out šŸ˜Š. Covid safety in place, and great selection of music. When I come back to the island it is definitely on my to-do, probably for several nights šŸ˜ŠšŸ‘ And a must for...
