Bollywood puerto calero — Restaurant in Yaiza

You won't be disappointed! It has been some years since I ate a curry at an authentic Indian restaurant and I was a little worried about travelling all the way to Lanzarote to do so again. However, my partner was intrigued by the extensive menu, and so we opted for our first Indian meal together ever! ( My previous meals were with my friends). We had a table out of the lunchtime sun, but in full view of the marina, and, because we were eating early in the afternoon, the restaurant was comfortably quiet. Service was efficient, polite, and with advice from 'H', our waiter who spoke English fluently and gave information on the two dishes ordered. Neither of us wanted anything too spicy, so I opted for a pasanda ( strength 4) and my partner for a Chashni ( strength 3). Peshwari naan for him and boiled rice for me. Perfect! My partner rarely finishes any restaurant meal, but he made a pretty good job of it yesterday, much to my surprise .. The bill came to just over €40, including 1 sparkling water for myself and 2 small beers for him, to which I added a service charge. We are already planning our return visit during our stay on the Island, with another dip into the delights...

Having been a customer of Bollywood, Puerto Del Carmen over the years, we were anxious to try Bollywood Puerto Calero and it certainly didn't disappoint! The food was absolutely excellent and the attention to detail was superb. It is well worth the visit out to Puerto Calero for the beautiful, peaceful and calm setting of the marina. The staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly and professional. We were given a lovely table outside and asked if we wanted to have our main course straight after the starter or if we would like to take some time in between which was a nice touch as we wanted to take our time having made the effort to get to Puerto Calero. The food here is simply amazing and full of flavour. All tastes were catered for, whether your like very hot or very mild. The food is so reasonably priced too which is always great. It was a real treat to be at such a lovely marina and be treated so well by all at Bollywood. Congrats on this fabulous restaurant and look forwarding to seeing you...

Staying in Puerto Calero for 1 week and are back again for a second night (which I'd never normally do) but the food is just that amazing. Tastes so fresh. My wife even said it was the best Indian she ever had. The restaurant is just newly opened and their Google business page wasn't even live when we ate here 6 days ago, so don't let the lack of reviews scare you. Service is also fantastic and staff is very friendly. Restaurant is child and baby friendly. With changing table in toilets too (which we have found alot of restaurants don't seem to have around here) Definitely the best Indian restaurant in lanzarote I...
