McSorleys — Restaurant in Yaiza

We asked for a table for 5 and space for a pushchair for our baby. The lady who greeted us was very abrupt and said we would need to wait for a table to be cleared (obviously we were fine with this) while she was clearing the table I asked if they had any high chairs available to which she rudely replied 'give me a minute' - I was just asking if they had them I wasn't expecting her to get one there and then. The food was actually really nice for a lunch bite, however the service really let it down. We accidentally knocked a drink over during our visit but no one was around to help. I asked one of the ladies for tissue and she told me I needed to go to the bar, so I did to which she gave me a minimal amount. I explained I would need more as it was a whole drink and she rolled her eyes at me. At this point two members of staff knew a drink had been spilt and no one came over to offer to help clean it up or anything. Our food then arrived which was good and the lady then decided when we had started eating that she would start to mop around us? Why this couldn't have been done before we ate when the drink was spilt I have no idea, they weren't busy. At the end of the meal we tried to get someone's attention to get the bill, this took about 25 mins (we could have gone to the bar but needed to finish our drinks anyway so decided to see how long it would take) two members of staff were on their phone during this time not paying any attention to...

Went there as a party of 6 with the plan to be there all day as some of the party had been there before. We ordered some drinks that were a bit below par and all ordered food with some items that weren't available (according to the waitress for some time), what arrived was edible but for food that was supposed to be "homecooked" I could have purchased better from a supermarket.

As a group we decided that we wasn't going to stay all day and asked for the bill, when it arrived there was a discrepancy which we was told couldn't be possible as all entries are made on a computer which is time stamped and can't possibly be wrong although our server had changed. I don't normally quibble with bills but I don't like being overcharged especially when the service and goods haven't been to a high standard.

I'm afraid to say that I wouldn't recommend this bar or would I or the party I was with...

Myself and my family (party of 4) came here to order some lunch and have a drink. We were not greeted at the door, nor were we given menus so we had to fetch those ourselves. After sitting there for about 10 minutes and nobody approaching us to greet us or take our order, my dad went to the lady who was serving and asked if we could order. She agreed so we waited. Another 10 minutes went by and she greeted other people, brought them their menu, told them about the specials of the day and completely ignored us as we sat there with the menus in hand. We then decided to get up and walk out. She watched us do this and said nothing. We are hoping that we were not ignored due to a member of our party being African.
