Ate here 3times while visiting Lanzarote as the food was tasty and the price was the most affordable for my situation! The staff are really friendly and attentive. This restaurant is also kid friendly and they have non breakable plates and bowls, although my toddler did break a ceramic bowl also but the staff just cleaned it up! We tried various different dishes, but I would recommend the satay chicken skewers and the BBQ ribs for sure, although everything we ordered went down well! You can also help yourself to sushi and various dessert items at any point and it's all included in the price. You do have to pay for drinks on the side which is fair enough as the buffet price and the unlimited amount of food you can order is still very reasonable for the price paid! I would recommend the buffet if you're on a budget and hungry! Obviously it depends on the amount of people but as it was one adult one child and one infant we definitely got out money's worth! Fyi the French fries are skinny and the chips are big, we only had the French fries and the kids enjoyed them but from previous reviews it says the chips are soggy, so to avoid this chose...
Read moreWe couldn’t access the takeaway we had originally intended to go to and came across this place. It was empty maybe the alarm bells should have gone off then. Food arrived within 10 mins of ordering. We thought the bag didn’t look large enough to hold our order but they had in fact fit everything in. Crispy beef was soggy and greasy, chips were fries clearly straight out of the freezer bag and thrown in the fryer. The sweet & sour chicken balls were not in any form of batter but were coated in what was described by one of our party as resembling flesh ! The Beef Shop Suey was again greasy with hardly any veg in and was inedible. Finally the special fried rice, the only thing I will find special is if I don’t get a dose of food poisoning from the prawn in it which I think they’ve had in storage since 2014 ! Avoid at all costs ! We have had a lot of Ants around the villa this week hanging around the food waste bin. I suspect if they tuck in to the amazing amount of left overs our Ant problem...
Read moreFound this little hidden gem via a Facebook group, so thought it was worth a shot whilst in the area and couldn't grumble for the price at 16.95 each and 8.95 for kids if you wanted the AYCE cook to order buffet.
Ordered the chicken satay skewers which were large and very tasty, the 1/4 duck with pancakes which was a large portion, crispy seaweed which was probably one of the best I've had as large portion, prawn toast, spring rolls and ribs were tasty also.
For the mains, we ordered chow mein alongside crispy chilli beef, kung po chicken, sweet and sour chicken balls and special fried rice.
Everything was fine, only thing I'd say is the rice was quite salty but think that was due to having seafood in it so could do with a little less salt.
Would I come back? 100% yes but less salt on the special fried rice and you're onto a faultless...
