Goiko — Restaurant in Zaragoza

Every single time we've ordered Goiko online (in the evening) it arrives cold. Really, really, really cold. We have tasted the food warm but only when we've ordered for lunch, when the restaurant I assume was less busy. The food itself is delicious, the portions are good, the presentation with sauces and handwipes in the bag are gratefully appreciated. I imagine if we visited the restaurant it would be a 5 star 🌟 review but it's so frustrating that the cold food on arrival, doesn't seem to just be a 'one off'.

Last night we ordered at approx. 9.45pm. at approx. 10.35pm the delivery rider called us to check the home address. Despite the app saying the food was still not collected, or ready (suspicious)? and then the food arrived stone cold at 11.05pm after an apparant food collection at 10.50pm. there is no way the food could get that cold in a 10 minute journey. So this was just not true.

It feels as though maybe because the food is so tasty the restaurant is so busy (good! It should be!) but the take away and delivery service at night is clearly overstretched which is really compromising the standards.

If two burgers can't be made and delivered even room temperature warm within 90minutes, perhaps it's best to close the takeaway service at that time and reduce orders for delivery?

Of course we complain to the delivery service app. But they just thank us for...

In few words • Too much hype for an average burger restaurant. The meat is quite good, the portions are generous and the staff is in general efficient. But the price is high for what you get.

Eating here is ok, but it's not the super place some people review or tell. There are plenty of burger restaurants, cheaper and with the same good quality food.

The Daily Menu is 11,5€ (salad or daily burger that if you are unlucky will be the less tastier one from the Menu, drink and dessert or coffee) and if you order just the burger outside the Daily Menu it is around 11€ or 13€. So the ideal option is reduced to the Daily Menu.

The waiters are fast, but they forgot how to smile and be kind. They have the basic courtesy attitude. The minimal required for a restaurant, but at this prices and expectations I want an extra.

And while the meat is good, the extras are poor and not as advertised. Check the pictures to see how the cheese and onions are served...

The food is ok. But on our visit today March 5th around 5pm we asked to be moved because they sat us near the OPEN garbage cans. The girl (longer dark hair with blonde all over the top in a pony tail) told us where to sit. There was NO ONE IN THE RESTAURANT. They could have let us move. But power trip girl said no. The table next to us was empty (previous party gone) and trash was all over the floor and we had to sit next to it the ENTIRE meal. We should have left but we were SO hungry and everything else was closed. My husband felt we should have left on principle alone. The goiko in Málaga was even worse, dirty cups, sticky floors, broken bathroom locks. This is my last time coming to this chain. Avoid...
