Kamado Asian Food — Restaurant in Zaragoza

One of the best Asian restaurants and probably the best Asian dish I’ve had in my life, period.

I was blown away by this place! Came with high expectations but let me tell you, all of them were fulfilled.

The service is impeccable (Lara and Sergio are the nicest people), the design of the place is really cool, the drinks and dishes come in different containers according to the ingredients (check out the Majin Buu jar, DBZ fans), the food is just elite with you-can-tell fresh ingredients and cooking prowess, and to top it all off the quantity of food is appropriate even for a large man (and different from 90% of Asian places, the curry actually has more than 8 bites of chicken).

Will come again. Will recommend. Will even write incredibly long google review because of how much I loved the experience.

Before eating, they gave us these "electric flowers" which when you eat it gives you this tingling feeling for a while then it makes you salivate like crazy for a while I guess to better enjoy your food. Quite an experience. The takoyaki was nice, it was good that they separated the sauce from it so it didn't get soggy right away. I was kinda sad they didn't put my crab bao in a nice platter like the one on the photo in their menu but when I had a bite, it was just replaced with some appreciation for some good food. It was really nice and flavorful. The xiao long bao was fine, we got it without the sauce and that probably would have made it great. Overall, I'm glad we ate here. Esperemos que solo fuera un mal día por qué no quisiera que uno de mis sitios favoritos para ir a cenar y pasar un rato divertido se haya degradado tanto como vivimos anoche. Me gustaría recalcar que el local no estaba muy concurrido más bien muy poca gente por lo que lo que vivimos anoche no tiene una explicación de exceso de trabajo y no poder llévalo todo acabó bien. La estética la de siempre un sitio chulo y modernete con neones. La primera mala impresión es que al entrar el olor a frito (aceite no muy limpio) es el que te recibe, antes el olor era súper agradable a la brasa del kamado, Pasamos a la mesa donde literalmente te quedabas pegado. Las cartas de bebidas han tenido tiempos mejores, muy estropeadas y también con una capa de grasa pegajosa. Pedimos dos cocteles un Sumono y un Monster Buu, estos estaban bien. Ricos y agradables de beber. Al elegir la comida me doy cuenta de que la carta ha cambiado que hay platos que ya no tienen pero bueno hasta ahí pues no le damos más importancia. Pedimos Takoyaki de pulpo, no entendimos como podían estar sobre fritos por fuera (quemados) pero fríos por dentro. Él sabor bien pero aparte de la temperatura y que estaban excesivamente fritos, chorreaban aceite. El siguiente plato fue Pokku Bao vajilla chula como es marca de la casa pero de nuevo esa pátina de grasa que hacía que cuando cogías la caneca del cerdo que tapa el plato se te resbalara. En lo que concierne a los baos los panes que se entiende que estén congelados no habían sido bien descongelados y se rompían. No eran esponjosos como se espera de un pan bao. El encurtido de los pepinos estaba rico pero la panceta dura y chiclosa difícil de comer. Continuamos con SHANGHẠI XIAO LONG BAO el sabor bien sin más no eran las empanadillas con más sabor del mundo y volvimos otra vez al frío estaban también desagradablemente frías. Terminamos con DUCK AND RICE el pato estaba bueno y bien cocinado a falta quizás de algo más de condimento. Pero el arroz…. Mal cocido y otra vez más frío y desagradable de comer. Llevo mucho tiempo visitando este local, casi desde la inauguración y era uno de mis top por que no fallaba me da mucha lástima si esta es la línea que tienen ahora. No sé si...
