We arrived towards the end of the evening. It seemed the barman and waitress were having a disagreement that occupied them too much to pay the customers attention. The waitress came and gave us our drinks with zero interaction. This is an unusual attitude in what is a very friendly and helpful city. Then the barman tried to charge me €14 for a beer and a water. When i pointed out this couldnt be right he didnt apologise just said it was someone elses bill. And, since I am a sucker for chick peas... then, you guessed it, I ordered their 'Veal Tripe and Chick Peas stew', soup du jour for the rest of us. Mmmmm mmm mmm mmm! Rock n Roll yummiliciously goood!!!! But hey, that's me, thinking oat loud.
Definitely, next time I come across 'Los Tubos' neighborhood in Zaragoza I will make it my mission to return and enjoy the local neighborhood camaraderie. This is a local pub where the locals hang oat, so enjoy. Eh.

After being turned away from a couple of bars we came across La Republicana and it was open.
