7 Degrees Restaurants — Restaurant in Colombo

We thought it was closed as the entrance is on the side lane, luckily the security guard came out and guided us, so this was sat night and there wasn't anybody else in the restaurant .. We went around 2200 so there may have been people earlier but still.. I'm sure a lot I'd people leave because they think its closed.. Decor.. Can't say I liked all of it... Some of it was cute but it just seemed Like a lot going on! I'm not find of plastic plants I guess! Very nice toilet! Food.. Its not fine dining for sure, more luke comfort food, the food is simply served on sizzling plates, so for certain items the price is too high we thought.. The food was tasty I have to say, we had the BBQ chicken, and the chicken fajitas.. Had the mandarin creme brulé which was definitely overpriced for what was offered.. A tiny little bowl for Rs 2800+ , come on! There was a savory rice that was served on the side which was absolutely delicious, I could eat a whole plate of that alone without anything else it was that good!

Service... Amazing is all I can say.. .. The staff were so so nice, extremely hospitable and helpful.. Very observant and quick to respond even before you could call them.. Always smiling... Note to owner.. Friends of our had wanted to go some time ago but didn't as they were vegetarian and someone had told them there weren't vegetarian options, this is true, if I recall there was just one veggie pasta dish on the menu.. So maybe you might want to add a couple of items that are veggie friendly.. decent restaurant with nice food, l I hope it gets busier and does well.. Maybe tweak the menu a bit.. He went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, from recommending the perfect dishes to ensuring that our glasses were never empty.

Not only was the service impeccable, but the food itself was absolutely exquisite. Each dish was beautifully presented, bursting with rich flavors, and clearly crafted with skill and care. It was evident that a lot of thought had gone into the ingredients, preparation, and overall quality.

My husband & I were starving after being at Lanka Hospital for hours & went here cz it was within walking distance. Ambience was excellent despite the not so great 90s remixes playing on the upper floor. Loved the huge projector wall with the green images being played sequentially and the complimenting colour palette of the interior.

Although their food was over our usual meal budget I wanted to order the beef burger since I haven't had one in ages. I started noticing that there were multiple servers around us and they approached us often. Once our food was brought, one of them came over & asked us if we had fast food often & he thought we looked like we did. Basically, calling us fat. We laughed it off but it put a damper on our evening.

More servers kept approaching us & pushing us to have a snack after our food despite us refusing to have dessert. At that point we figured they wanted us to leave asap since we were underdressed as we had just come from the hospital.

Anyway. It was a bizarre experience. We spent way more than we should've & walked away feeling a bit disgruntled. The burger was excellent, though. So was the...
