Ibrahim Eating House (Beruwala Kade) — Restaurant in Colombo

A place to eat Beruwala and Muslim food. They serve Rice and curry as well a Kiduwu, kidu or kidoo කිඩූ (A typical menu served in a banana leaf packed in a traditional basket woven with coconut leaves) food made in to southern ceylon moor style. It comes with spicy beef, shall curry, cooked mango , ash plantain and eggplant (Brinjal) fried and cooked together. It's a crowded place during lunch time and they do takeaways as well. Fairly clean to an acceptable level. Take the first seat available if you are in a hurry. There are plenty of meal options. I went to the beruwala kade Ibrahim eating House straight after jummah prayers to have lunch. I went to Upstairs because it was fully crowded and no room to sit in the ground floor area. I entered upstairs without knowing that they only serve for more than 2 people I was waiting for Around 20 minutes and the waiter asked me how many are you going to eat and I said only myself. Yesterday, Mon 22 Jun 2020 at 1130 hrs. I visited this eatery to buy Kidu Rice Beef and ordered 6 Kidu at @ Rs 1500×6=9000/=. They delivered by 1210hrs and I picked it and 1 guy helped to load onto my trishaw. Food is good but the currries are not enough. I think the guy is serving and packing the food in the kitchen must be reluctant to serve better as I am the 1st customer.
