Day Long Restaurant — Restaurant in Weligama

I was Feeling a Bit sick and in need of some nice soup and Here I found it!! The vegetable soup was a nice comfort food and the Avocado roti I ordered was also deli, in General all the food was very tasty and the Service super nice, my Partner ordered some Curry and I Most say this has been one of my favorites If Not the best I tried while in Sri Lanka. And the best Part was trying for desert hallapa, a Kind of sweet dumpling/quesadilla coverd in a leaf and with A coconout sweet, I read later is a dessert Made with A grane Just available in Sri Lanka. Best restaurant in Weligama. Cute family running it, amazing food (we went three times and every time it was excellent), really good prices... the sister and brother waiting team are really funny. We did overhear some people saying ‘we come here as they don’t charge service’... just remember this is a tiny family business so don’t be a tight wad and take advantage of their good nature, chuck on 10%. WORTH TO TRY!

We ate here once. I would say the devilled food is not the greatest. Unfortunately i must agree with some comment from the past the devilled shrimp is not really spicy and the sauce feels a bit like ketchup.

However the Fish burger was marvelous and i did like the mixed vegetable salad too. The service was super kind and really fast.
