Bar Minimal — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Bar Minimal received quite some hype since they opened and they do live up to it. The pizza is great, and while not on the same level as for example Buono, it is one of the best in Gothenburg. The simple Gothenburg-style interior and the fast service make it even more of a nice experience. Additionally, it’s very fair priced for a vegan Margharita at only 135 SEK. Only downer is the infuriatingly overpriced glass of alcohol-free champagne at 85 SEK. That’s just a bit too far out, especially compared to buying price and other restaurants.

One word: FANTASTIC!!!!! The pizzas were super good, as if you were in Italy (same for the amazing olives… wauw!); the dough was super puffy and precisely what a perfect pizza dough taste en looks like (which rises for 4 days - told the waitress). We had some local beers which we both highly recommend as well. And lastly the tiramisu… again one word: fantastic.

This is true for this place when they say it’s not the place but it’s the vive. Bar minimal has got the vive. If you are looking for a place to chill or take your first date to a place where you guys can just chill and talk, this is THE place.
