We found this place almost two years ago during our first trip to Sweden. We have spoken about our experience time and time again over the last two years. Finally we were able to come back and try the food again.
This place was just as remarkable as we remembered. The decor is shabby chic. The walls are decorated with traditional Indian decor. From the flooring to the ceiling the aesthetics are visually pleasing.
The service was a like slow. We did wait a while for the waitress to take our order and the place was empty so that was a little weird. Once she arrived she was super friendly and very kind.
The food…. We order two appetizers and two entrees. All good was just as amazing as we remembered. Hot and tasty. The serving sizes were perfect. Just the right amount of food in each dish.
I wish I could share the names of the dishes we order but unfortunately my met is not that great.
we live this place for their food and the decor.
We will definitely...
Read moreI and my friends went to this restaurant last night and there were 11 of us. We ordered 10 dishes and each dish was supposed to come with rice. But they gave us only 3 bowls of rice and they refilled the bowl when it was finished. We thought that maybe they combined the rice and is giving us refills as they owed us 10 rice bowls. After we were done with the payment, we realised that they charged us extra for the refills and they did not even give us the amount of rice that were supposed to. We were scammed. All of us ordered a curry which was supposed to come with a rice separately. If they did not charge us extra, maybe we wouldnt have realised it but they gave us less rice in the first place and then charged us extra later as well. It was not even enough for every one of us. I thought that I would try more of their menu bcuz the food is good. Not gonna go...
Read moreThe service left much to be desired. We came to order food as takeout and were looking at the menu deciding what to get. He kept stressing us to decide. We asked what sizes the naan were and he replied “normal”… when we got home the paneer dish was totally bland. The tandoori chicken was so dry and bland it seemed to us as though it had been reheated from the previous day. The chicken in the vindaloo was also very dry and the sauce was not very spicy in spite of us asking him to make it as spicy as possible. The portion sizes were decent, although the sauce to protein ratio was slightly off with a lot of sauce being left over once the protein had been consumed. We did however get plenty of rice. The garlic naan was tasty! At 179 kr per person this dining experience was a huge disappointment. I won’t be returning and cannot recommend...
