Walk In The Park — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Food. I am Italian, I love pizza (you don’t say?!), I tried three different kinds of pizzas here so far, and there is nothing I would have changed about them. Top notch ingredients, very tasty dough, no unnecessary dressings, fun and creative tastes.

Atmosphere. Little place, cozy yet not excessive, perfect lighting for any kind of occasion, creative interior design that justifies the name of the place “Walk in the park”.

Service. We were two, we had not reserved a table, the place was quite full, yet the waiter took his time and figured out a way to accommodate us. The second waiter who served us was constantly funny, kind and made sure everything was right without ever being pushy. He even offered two free drinks to apologize for a slight, negligible, delay with the serving.

Company. 5/5. Though every time I hang out with Lesya we have a blast, I promise this review...

The food is quite good. The place is tiny and the drinks are pricey.

The concept of the Walk In The Park is actually pretty nice - A small and cozy place serving a very specific kind of "pizza". That said do not visit with groups larger than 6. The maximum I'd say is 8. We were 10+a baby and it was tight.

I wish the restaurant did not accept a large party when they know that it can be as tight as it will was. Not complaining about the atmosphere at all. In fact it was still nice to be the 10+ group that we were and we had a conversation and laughter, but you'd also want to visit the toilet without having to get 6 people to move out of their seats.

All else stated, the food was delicious, the drinks were OK and pricey. I would choose to visit the Walk In The Park only when I have some more cash...

It's a cozy place and the interior design is cool. It feels like you're walking in the park as the name implies. The dish names also come from well known park names. You can order Gaudiparken as well as Vasaparken. The food quality is good. Like the pizza crust. It's called Roman style pizza in the menu. You can order pizzas in 3 different sizes. There are also 3 options for the vegetarians in the menu. The waiting time for the food is not too long and in the meantime, you can drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
