Lucky Burger — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

When I say this burger 🍔 was excellent 😋 👌🏻 I mean it!!! The meat was fresh, the bun was soft and well cooked. I had the Bistro Burger 🤤 with sweet potato fries so if you are in Gothenburg, and fancy a burger, do come here. One suggestion, if you order the sweet potatoes fries with cheese, I think they come with parmigiano which is quite salty and the two did not really go well together 🙃🫣. This is what I was told by my friends who ordered it.

Do not be fooled by the outside aspect! I admit I was not impressed as it looks pretty run down and unappealing. However, who cares?! 🤷🏻‍♀️ At the end of the day it's all about the food quality and taste.

Now...the interior is that of a pub, which is not really something I usually go for when I want to eat. Chairs where uncomfortable and it smelled like alcohol predominantly, felt a bit stuffy at times. I also noticed the place had been open for about 2 or maybe 3 years so I assume they are still recovering from the pandemic. Hopefully, if business kicks off (I hope it does because that burger was tasty !!!)

I marked service down because I believe the waiter forgot about my water and took a long time to take our order. He may have been stressed or maybe that was the time the place was getting busier.

I was with my family looking for another place for lunch, and luckily we ended up at Lucky Burger. The service was the best I ever had, and the vegetarian burger was delicious. The owner of the place loves what he is doing and showed it through his attention, smile, sympathy and at the end gave a bag of chips to my kids. For sure, next time in Gothemburg, we will try that...

Something has changed. The beer was cheap, now it is more in the average range. Norrlands Guld and IPA on tap for 123 kronor. A couple of months ago it was sub 40 for a Norrlands. The staff has changed as well.

I would rather walk across the street, especially when the unique selling point no longer exists...
