In my opinion, food is the most important thing in a restaurant. That's why I go out to eat. The food at Skanshof is top class, the service, OK. To burst the bubble of the group of 4's negativities on the head waiter, I thought he was good. The head waiter of premium restaurants is rarely a personal assistants, he is straightforward. This was tasty and nicely decorated. A tad bit small for me since I'm a big eater but will probably be enough for the average person. The french fries were perfect! 175 SEK is expensive but it seems this place is considered fine dining.
What I would really recommend is their Rhubarb pie (125 SEK), consisting of baked rhubarb, strawberry, oat crust, vanilla ice cream, salted caramel sauce. Very tasty and great tasting coffee with it.
