S&B vietnamesiskt kök — Restaurant in Kalmar kommun

I had the Pho, the traditional soup with rice-noodels, vegetables, spices ... The soup was o.k., but there were hardly any herbs, nearly no koreander... little spices, vegetables, onions, ... in it. Mainly just the noodles and the beef.I always eat Pho when I go to a Vietnamese Restaurant - usually it comes with a plenty of fresh things in it. So I wondered, if I should have ordered another soup, and looked at the Menu again and also at the Google Pictures to this place. You can see on some of the pictures, that they serve soups with rich green stuff in it - they even serve it on an extra plate so you can decide yourself what you want to put in and what not. So when I payed I asked them what I should have ordered to get a soup like that. The answer was, I ordered the right soup but I should have asked for the green stuff . This really did upset me! I can understand if for example you run out of things but this is just ridiculous: The service should bring the extra plate with the green things or at least ask the customer if they want it. But why should anyone not want the spices, herbes, vegateables, salads for the soup on an extra plate? So please - just bring it straight away directly in the first place. I eat at a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and have traveled in the country. I make a very good Pho myself. And the food at S&B is excellent by all standards. The Pho broth may be the best I have ever had. The beef excellant quality although I prefer it more raw and may request that next time. The bao buns a real treat.
