Restaurant Stäket — Restaurant in Lund Municipality

One of the oldest buildings in Lund, and seems their ingredients are from the same era. Two plates ordered, one carbonara and one pasta with beef. Horrible food. No taste, no salt, worst of all no passion. The carbonera had a watery taste as I'd it had been frozen. The beef dish reeked of false chemical tryffel, and the beef itself very overcooked. I rarely don't finish food, but this was not something we could stomach. Wait staff never asked how the meal was, almost as if they knew that this was plain food served at luxury prices.

Better off making your own at home for the price. Honestly we laughed through the whole meal because it was so unbelievably amateur in terms of presentation and taste. Never attending again. Pizza in the past has been fine, but even then not worth it with so many better options in town.

Such a waste! Service was fine but not beyond anything from a fast food joint. Water even had a smell of wet mold, should be time to wash the serving bottles I would imagine. All in all a miserable excuse in mediocrity and what one unfortunately did not expect given the prestige and hype. Yet another example of glorified interior and pomp with Total lack of execution on the plate. Severely disappointed for 1000:- spent. Sub par wine list, lackluster food, uninterested staff. Seems everyone has given up here, and for the price better off going for falafel...

I enjoyed many times winter dinners here in indoor Stäket, and never been disappointed for their fantastic food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere which definitely deserves 5 stars. I usually order pizza from here, one of the best in Lund. However, yesterday was such a good weather that I went with a friend to eat pizza at the new outside garden of the restaurant. Unfortunately they overfit too many tables in a very small area and guests get squeezed and forced to listen to each other conversations. Not romantic at all, if a lovely date is what you are looking for. Pizza was great as usual, but I can give only 3 starts because of the service; there were only 2 waitress for an almost packed sunny 25°C Thursday. Because of this, the staff was very slow and unprepared, and not enjoyable to be around with. So, any time we'll try to get their attention for ordering or pay the bill it was like half-hour wait. The food was okay. But when we wanted to pay, they told us they didn't accept cash and it was written on the board at the entrance. The place has 2 entrances in the front, and there was no such sign at the one we walked in. I don't like using my credit card in foreign countries since my bank charges me extra when I do. The restaurant should tell the customers that they didn't accept cash before they order their food, just in case the tiny hand written warning may have not been seen. When I asked why they didn't accept cash, one waitress told me that they didn't want to have so much cash available in case of a robbery, which she told me that was quite frequent. Hard to believe in a small town like Lund, but okay... So I'm never recommending your town to...
