Moosehead — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

The food was world class. Absolutely well made and the portions just right really tasty. Would definitely eat here again, if it wasn't for the waiters. After we got seated and got the menu card, none noticed us. Not until a guy finally came around from the other side of the restaurant and took our order. Drink and beers came fairly quickly. When done, they took our plates away and then we just waited again. We actually talked about just leaving without pay because none would notice. Finally we got hold of a waitress and got the desert menu just to wait again for someone to take the order. After quite a while we placed our dessert order and got that too. While waiting, we saw other guests who didn't get food or got the wrong food. Some didn't get drinks before the food was served. Nasty people! We were 8 adults and a 2 year old kid, there were absolutely nothing on the menu for kids and they didn’t even have a baby seat which was not a problem for us, the kid could sit on a regular chair. We sat, ordered and grabbed the kid a burger from another place. By the time the drinks brought on the table the waitress came to us asking us not to feed the kid who has started eating already as they have “rules”. We were shocked and asked them to cancel the order which the restaurant “Manager” said it’s Ok! We were leaving and got followed up by the same waitress telling us we have to pay for the drinks which we could not drink because we were asked to either starve the kid or leave.

For info, they had no signs saying food for kids can’t be brought inside or that they have kids food! Lastly, the “Manager” was - in front of us - telling the waitress...

We took a quick bus ride over to Sweden from Copenhagen and visited Moosehead for a few drinks and some snacks. We sat outside and under the provided heated umbrellas and also provided with cozy blankets. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

The food was delicious and the drinks were very well made. We ordered two cocktails which took quite some time to make. When the gentleman brought them over his apologised for the delay and explained that he had ran out of the sugars and ingredients used to make many cocktails and had to make them from scratch. So a massive welldone for going above and beyond to make sure we got our drinks.

We are only removing a star as our drink choice was quite drastically reduced from this point and had to find somewhere else to drink.
