One member of our party has severe food allergies, and we were assured that our order would be safe. When our food arrived considerably later than expected, they unceremoniously handed us a dish that was not what we ordered. When we alerted them to their mistake, they doubled down and said that they had let us know they were out of the dish we ordered and already asked us if their substitution would be ok. Such a thing never happened.
We asked if their substitution was still safe for the allergies, and were assured it was ok. They said it was a vegan meal, not that any of us were vegan. Considering one of the allergies in question was to tree nuts (the others being sesame and egg), I questioned what was in the cheese and again was told it’s safe. I didn’t believe them because they couldn’t tell me who made the cheese - cashews or almonds are often in vegan cheese. I went to the kitchen and asked to see the cheese, and was shown a block of grana padano which is neither vegan and also coincidentally contains eggs. My server was rude and stubborn until she read the food label, and then she changed her tune to apologetic.
I will never recommend this place to anyone I know, especially not with their blasé attitude towards dietary restrictions and allergies. I hope they understand the gravity of their actions and learn before it’s too late that their careless attitude could cost...
Read moreWhere to start with this dreadful place? My food wasn't great - there were lumps of pure salt in my salmon to pick out - but nothing compared to my mum, who was served raw chicken. After taking a couple of bites, she realised it was pink and rubbery so sent it back. No refund was offered until we forced the issue, and even then no apology. I spoke to the chef about it, who sarcastically asked:
'What do you want me to do? Call an ambulance? Drive her to the hospital?'
On finally accepting to refund the meal, he asked us:
'So, this money is going to make her not sick?' A waitress then proceeded to tell us that it was OK if she missed her flight due to salmonella the next day because 'You're English; you have travel insurance.'
Added to the fact that they claimed it doesn't matter if you don't cook chicken because they were 'Swedish chickens, not Chinese', this all made for an experience so dreadful the couple on the next table felt moved to apologise to us on behalf of Swedish people, assuring us that 'we're not all like them' (which is very true. Lovely people on the whole). There was one very sympathetic member of staff who stood up to the bullying chef and offered us a complimentary coffee and dessert and apologised to us. My thanks to her. But we just wanted to get out of this nasty place as soon as possible. Avoid at all costs. Go without food if you have to. Just don't...

The waiter Mustafa was one of the rudest persons I’ve ever been served by.
I had a burrata for starter, and that cheese was anything but a burrata (maybe something bought in a supermarket).
For main course we had the meatballs, again taste like frozen supermarket ones, and the Caesar salad with the worst chicken in the whole Scandinavia.
The glasses for the drinks were very dirty with kalk.
Cherry on top, when we ask for the bill, the waiter, again a guy called Mustafa, was forcing me to pay tips saying that it was against the law not to do it. Even though it’s was not included in the bill… The service was so poor that he never came to the table asking about the food or making the effort to get some tip. When I said that I was not going to tip, he started calling me dog and saying that I was banned to enter again to the restaurant (¿?).
Don’t worry Mustafa, I’m going to sleep well tonight, and I won’t go back to that place ever again, but by my own...
