Everybody should be happy whenever they see a restaurant with a very short menu. That means "we don't have a lot on the menu, but we are really good at what we do". This is truly the core compence of this place. (I won't even bother with foodpicture number 1000 of the pie here, go elsewhere in the review section for that). We had the mac n cheese and even my hard to impress (USA born) partner said she loved it, it's perfect with the spicy sauce. The pies are great, don't look big on the plate but they should not be bigger, because then there's no room for dessert. I rarely eat icecream when I'm out, mostly end up disappointed, but took a chance on the "pudding" icecream sandwich. Perfect size, tasty icecream, good texture and not silly sweet as they tend to be sometimes. Impressed! If I am picky I could say skip the background music or add something on the walls or ceiling to dampen the accoustic a bit, but that is maybe a fire prevention issue. Service was excellent and we left with the intention of...

Small cosy place with a bathroom. Menu options were limited. This however is a good thing. You get freshly made meals that are delicious as a result. We had English muffins with fried chicken. You had 3 different options for sauce/garnishing. For kids they made an alternative version. I want to stress that it really is all freshly made! Their fries (as a Belgian) were delicious. Crispy and tasty potatoes. With aioli on the side.

There are different beers available. 1 non-alcoholic. And different wines. The only thing what could have made it better was a non-beer, non-alcoholic beverage. A homemade icetea, lemonade,.. so those not into hoppy, malty flavors have other options than free tap water.

So if you're not a picky eater or a vegetarian (no options on the menu when we went) and your goal is to taste fresh affordable food. Hop in! You wont be...

Giving this as one star as we had a very bad experience with what seemed like the owner. We preordered two different pies, they gave us the wrong ones and gave people who came after us the one we ordered. They offered to remove it from the bill and then retracted it after we ate, very rudely. All just completely unnecessary. We never even asked that it be taken off but after being told it would then being spoken to rudely in front of the entire restaurant after their own mistake, it left a really bad taste in our mouths. The pie we had was just...

It was an amazing experience. The staff is really nice and welcoming. The food is very delicious and fresh. They take time to explain to you the concept of the restaurant which is based on two menus : one for the summer and one for the winter. I tried the winter one which is a filled pie with mashed potatoes. They change regularly the menu, the filling of the pies. I definitively recommend this restaurant for the food but equally for the people who are working there. Great atmosphere, they make you feel like you are at home. The place is really nice and cozy.

What a gem of a place! The pies were absolutely delicious, but the whole atmosphere of the restaurant is really what makes this such a fantastic meal. It's tiny, so be prepared to wait a bit, but rest assured that it will be quite worthwhile. Sitting at the bar you can enjoy the dance going on in the kitchen and really appreciate all the care they put into the food. Didn't have the chance to try out the beers, but the selection was quite good. Next time I am in Malmö, I'm running, not walking, to Marvin!

“The best pie in town!” We were looking for a quick lunch and we were lucky and ended up at Marvin. The place is cozy, host speaks perfect English and he was very helpfully to quickly explain what’s in the menu and how to order. We took the pie with chicken and the vegetarian one, and tried the cheese croquettes with some local beer. The food came fast and it was super tasty! Just that it’s usually crowded, so you may need to wait a bit.. but it’s worthy! Definitely a must try if you’re in the area. A+
