Yukai — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

The nice thing about this place is the prices, it's very cheap and considering that the food is pretty decent eating here is a bargain. The food is usually delivered quickly as well. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. The staff doesn't really keep an eye out for you, to see if you want another glass to drink and so on. Even getting their attention on your own is harder than you'd expect. And many of them don't speak Swedish well at all so you need to be very clear about what you order. They offer take away so you can enjoy the food at home if you want to.

Been here for about half an hour now. We had reserved a table, but no one seemed to know anything about that. "just take a menu from this pile" so we just kinda sat down at whatever table we could find. No one's taken our order yet, not even offered us to order drinks yet. Doesn't seem like the staff actually speaks Swedish or English anyway. 8 kr. for a glass of water might be ok if it was actually possible to get a glass of water at all. Or food maybe. Food. In a restaurant. Might work out better for them if they seemed more willing to serve food in...

Our first time here was last year and we didn't enjoy it. We decided to give it a second shot and unfortunately there were no noticeable improvements. The staff and location are nice but the sushi itself is very poor. The pieces are absolutely huge, the biggest we ever had. Too much rice and the sushi pieces can't really hold themselves together. The sushi rolls are all very similar with the top being the only thing that changes (the inside of the roll seems to be the same in multiple rolls).
