Boulebar Haga — Restaurant in Solna kommun

Experience at BouleBar Haga on 05/06/2022

I think it’s safe to say that my experience was not positive in any way. I have allergies to; all nuts, fish and sesame which are very sensitive and very serious. From the start to end of the booking the restaurant was made aware of the allergies and myself and my partner were assured they would be catered for.

Confirmation of my allergies was on the initial online booking form, it was then confirmed when ordering food in both Swedish and English. The first section of the set brunch menu was brought out separately in different baskets for myself and my partner to cater for the allergies. It was confirmed once more at this point when the food was put on the tables that the food was separate for my allergies. The rest of the food was then brought out together by the same service staff who brought the initial items. I ended up having a severe allergic reaction which resulted in a hospital stay.

The matter has not been dealt with in an appropriate manner since – the restaurant have been matter of fact about the issue when my partner managed to get a hold of management and the response was quite nonchalant and dismissive considering it could’ve a lot more serious. All credit to one of the staff that looked after me, called the ambulance and stayed with me and my partner until I left. It has cost me financially and caused a great deal of trauma to myself and my partner. I have been on medication for a week afterwards of 10 pills a day to prevent a delayed secondary reaction, I had to rearrange my flights back to the UK and also take time off work due to the effects of the medication

I hope the restaurant will take allergies more seriously next time and realise the effect it has on...

The place is tuned into french atmosphere with stuff serving drinks and food in T-shirts with stirpes . Outside Stuff on the playground was supportive and helpful from explaining the rules of petanque to providing decisions who is actually winning :) and checking if we wish to order more refreshment, which was also helpful to enjoy even more the game 👍 My experience of this place was thanks to summer party from a company where I am working. Refreshments, The game, meal was warmly appreciated. Serving huge amount of drinks and portion of meals was well managed. Decoration inside as well outside is giving nice feel of right place to be for having good time with colleagues or friends. What was noticeable was creation of queues in from of the only one set of toilets 🚻🚻, which doesn't seams to be right on such a huge place for so many people. On their defence, I didn't drink that much beverage and didn't stay too long to need to use 🚾 nor ask for where is the rest...

A very sunny day. People were happy playing boule. Following the notice board at the entrance I asked to be seated. I was told that I could seat and order in the bar inside. Initially I just wanted to have a beer. Once inside I asked the waiters if I could seat in a free table and order some food. They said that of course it was OK. While I was waiting another table (with umbrella) was left so I asked to my waiter if I could move there and she confirmed, and I did. After a while the man that was in the door came to warn me that if I wanted to change I should have asked. And I said that that's what exactly what I did. Well... for some reason I had done something wrong. But I still don't know what. After a while another waiter without asking me, moved the umbrella to provide shadow to another customers close.
