We stayed at the Elite Palace for a few days between Christmas and new year, and had a wonderful experience. ||The hotel is a solid 4-star venue. It is well-designed, nicely appointed and comfortable. The communal areas are well maintained and the rooms are bright, clean and comfortable. We were welcomed by Martin at check-in who was really friendly; we were also given restaurant recommendations by Maja who was really helpful (and yes, her recommendation of Tranan restaurant was spot-on!). Everyone who works at this hotel is friendly and respectful of their guests. Very high standards across the board. ||Pros: great value for money, excellent breakfast, very comfortable beds/pillows, fluffy towels, nice bathroom products, quiet/calm atmosphere on the bedroom floors (even when the hotel is busy!), great spa facilities, nice walking distance to Royal Palace (35 mins) and less than 10 mins walk to Odenplan transport hub, loads of excellent restaurants within 5 mins walking distance, the area is very safe. ||Cons: not a lot of storage space in the room for hanging clothes. This is genuinely the only con I have about this hotel and that isn’t even a big con. It’s a minor, mini niggle. ||I read negative comments before arriving about the spa and the cost of it; that it should be included in the price of the hotel. I do not agree. The hotel is a very popular, busy spot. If everyone decided to go to the spa on a snowy day because it’s free (not improbable on some bad weather days), the facility would be overrun. It is such a fantastic facility because it has a price attached to it - the price prohibits the abuse of the facility. The hotel is already excellent value IMO, so I have no issue with paying extra for the spa if it is well-managed and maintained. Don’t be put off the hotel because you’re feeling aggrieved at having to pay extra for the spa. Spend that money safe in the knowledge that the spa is well worth it! ||Well done Elite Palace! A great hotel that we will...

Our recent stay at the Elite Palace Hotel in Stockholm was nothing short of amazing, and we owe much of it to the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Despite the hotel being busy during our visit, the reception team, especially Julia, went above and beyond to assist us. Her kindness and efficiency were truly appreciated, particularly when my daughter’s boyfriend fell seriously ill with food poisoning from his flight. Julia ensured we had everything we needed during a stressful time, and her professionalism and empathy made all the difference.
The housekeeping staff also deserves a special mention for their attentiveness and care. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and well-supported throughout our stay.
The hotel itself is a gem—spacious, modern, and well-maintained. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. We were also fortunate to enjoy the New Year’s Eve dinner at the hotel restaurant, where the staff was incredibly hospitable and made the evening truly special.
One of the standout features of the Elite Palace Hotel is its gym. As frequent travelers, we can confidently say it’s one of the best hotel gyms we’ve seen in Sweden—well-equipped and perfect for maintaining a fitness routine during a stay.
Elite Palace Hotel combines comfort, elegance, and top-notch service, making it a standout choice for any visit to Stockholm. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning...
Read moreI experienced a very nice 5-days stay in the Elite Palace Hotel. The check-in was very smooth, the receptionist explained everything to me in a few minutes.
The rooms itself was cozy and nice, even though I could see that the furniture wasn't brand new. Still, it was clean. Probably the worst part of the room was the bathroom, it looked okay, but the fact that the shower couldn't be closed and I ended up with spreading water over half of the bathroom floor was not very pleasant. On the other hand, I very much appreciated the small fridge and iron included.
Breakfast was my favourite part of the day during my stay here. For me, the variety of food was big enough. Everything I ate was fresh and tasty. I can totally recommend having the fresh juice, smoothie or pancakes. If you prefer salty breakfast, different cheese types, eggs, sausages or vegetables with pastry won't disappoint you either.
The location of this hotel is very good. You can get to both the Arlanda and Bromma airport easily by bus. You can walk to the city center as well. And if you need to travel more, you can use subway which has station nearby as well.
I was overall very satisfied with my stay. Only one thing I must admit, I thought 4* star hotel in the centre of Stockholm would appear a bit more luxurious. But nevertheless, I can...
