I originally came across Hargreaves’ Fredag ring when it popped up on Facebook. I immediately took a screenshot and fell in love with the design and over the next year, looked at it many times and knew it was the ring for me.

Luckily my partner, Phil took little convincing. Having been together for 15 years .. he knew it was time…and we made contact with Jemima at Hargreaves and our journey started.

This was my first experience of buying something valuable abroad and I was just so impressed with how Jemima explained everything. We discussed our budget and we were amazed to learn that we could be involved with the design of the ring from so far away. Jemima responded immediately to my emails .. always available to answer any queries without being pushy. She really doesn’t need to push her work because her jewellery speaks for itself. We were able to look round the Stockholm workshop and charming shop via Zoom and meet Jemima herself who is just absolutely lovely.

Once we had decided to go ahead, we were kept up to date with my rings formation, starting with the shapes and positions of the diamonds.. where they’d come from, what they represented to us and how they would look aesthetically.

Jemima sent videos of my ring being made right from the beginning and when the last video arrived with it all finished.. I could not believe it!

My ring was delivered to Phil and I in the most exquisite packaging. I opened the box in my garden on the sunniest of days and have been completely bedazzled with it ever since.
