I typically take lunch from from Mukut. The amount/price is rather generous, the quality quite decent, and the service pretty good too - it has improved recent years, there were times when I had to deal with grumpy or rude waiters (not great surprise in Stockholm), but it's definitely among the better places in town in this respect! The food is quite tasty and not unexpectedly a la carte dishes are better. It does tend to be a bit too sweet to my taste (although as far as I understood that's a general issue with Indian food in Europe), but in general their dishes are a good value.

Read moreConsidering their lunch offer is only 115kr at the time of writing this review (and that includes sallad, poppadoms and mango lassi) I think it's terrific a value for money in central Stockholm.
While they have a limited selection of dishes to choose from as part of the lunch offer, we found them tasty, spicy and flavourful.
The restaurant has an Indian-style inspired interior which was nice, but I would have liked the background music to be Indian rather than from the local radio station.

We tried the vindaloo beef and the mango chicken masala, which were both delicious. The vindaloo is the spiciest thing they have on the menu and we got it at their recommendation. The beef was very tender and indeed very spicy. It came with a big bowl of rice which was enough for both meals.
