We visited this place with high expectations but were left thoroughly disappointed. The food lacked flavor and fell far short of what we anticipated. We ordered dumplings, which were mediocre at best. To make matters worse, they were served without any sauce, and we had to request it twice before it was finally brought to the table.
The fried chicken in sweet and sour sauce was below average, and the accompanying rice was served a full 15 minutes after the main dishes had already arrived. Additionally, we had ordered prawn dumplings and crab-and-pork dumplings, but we were served two portions of prawn dumplings instead. When we inquired, the staff casually mentioned that the crab-and-pork option was unavailable but failed to inform us beforehand.
Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing, and the high prices made it even more frustrating. Definitely not worth the visit, and we wouldn’t...
Read moreI don't know if these reviews are bought or not, but it was far from a five star experience. I am always looking for the best Chinese restaurant in Stockholm and of course I had to try this one. Sad to say that I was left disappointed even though I came here on three separate occasions.
Dim sum: It was good but not great, 油條 was the highlight with congee. Not that the food was impressive, but because no one else makes in Stockholm. Very biased, high nostalgia from childhood. Dinner: The 咕嚕肉 was fried like Swedish/Chinese restaurants do with a lot of batter, and used pre-made bottles sauce for dipping which is a big no no for me, and their 魚香茄子 was too sour and soggy. The duck did not have that wonderful flavour that it should have. Even the rice didn't feel right.
I would not recommend coming here, since it is a bit off anyways. There are better Chinese restaurants to visit...
Read moreAbsolutely delusional pricing strategy. No 鱼香肉丝 anywhere in this world regardless of how good the taste worths 25 USD (justifiable probably in Bamako or Banjul). Had much better deep in South America for much less. Not to mention this is worst one I have ever had. Exactly who puts half portion worth of ginger in it? If you can’t do the seasoning properly how hard is it to just use prepackaged sauces? As a comparison, Bistro Na where they strategically overprice by boasting quality raw materials (Michelin Starred in LA) currently serves meat entrees at 24-30USD. I can buy all the ingredients at the best quality possible (Berkshire pork, all veggies certified organic) for 80-90SEK here. You get two dishes in 东哥 or 乡月 for the price of one here. A 200% mark up for bad food is just plain stupidity even for...
