Small cafe / bakery where you will find traditional Swedish pastries and bread to go with a beverage like espresso, cappuccino, latte or tea.

Cosy seating and popular in the morning. Just 5 mins from Vasaparken. Service was quick and cordial.

I bought a couple of pastries as the confectionary look fresh, plump and nice.

🔸️ Semla 👍👍👍👍 Traditional bread bun with round top. Middle is filled with vanilla cream. Smooth, sweet almond paste in the centre. Nicest when cold.

🔸️ Crossiant 👍👍👍👍 Not overly buttery, flaky, nice crunch. Best when slightly warmed in oven.

🔸️ Chocolate Crossiant 👍👍👍👍 Dark chocolate chips filling. This is a nice big croissant that can be shared...

We had the most weird experience in this place. They close at 17:00, and entered around 16:40 thinking that 20 min is more than enough to get a cup of coffee to take away. The lady working there looked at us from top and with a incredibly condiscendent and arrogant tone sent us away. We felt really unwelcome and went to the nearby cafe that also closes at 17:00 and their machine was on and we left in few minutes with our coffee in hand. Small traditional Swedish ”kondis”, cozy setting and atmosphere, like being thrown back to the 50s-60s. Baristas can be a bit slow so not great if you are in a hurry for a take away coffee fix. Also, I got the sense they are a bit pretentious… When I was here a week ago I ordered my favorite caffeine fix – a Flat White. The barista relied ”I don’t do a flat white”! 🙄 Something you might expect in a fancy Italian coffee shop or something but not in a city center...
