It would be a good idea if the owners of this English tea shop researched English afternoon tea. All components but the sandwiches were not good - nor English. It's true we are in Sweden but surely a cafe with an English theme should be as authentically English as possible? Scones were muffins and raw in the middle. Jam was runny, lemon curd and cinnamon butter is not a usual component of afternoon tea. The clotted cream, was not clotted cream at all. There was enough tea served for one small cup each and should be a lot more. They also did not have English breakfast tea which was the first warning sign! They have nice tea but very limited selection. This place is nothing special and clearly overpriced. The teapots are not good quality and you will spill a lot of tea when pouring. They scones was not good and we left half of them without eating them. Very small containers with jam, honey and clotted cream. They forgot to even ask if we wanted suger or milk and I am sure that they don’t even would have a slice of lemon. The small sandwiches was ok and also the only slice of cake they had. Took my mother and daughter as part of an 85th birthday weekend. Very disappointing and nothing special. Dry sandwiches and weak tea. Lots of carbs with a few sweet toppings, definitely not enough toppings for three people. Very little spread on the sandwiches so not much taste. Server seemed busy and didn't stop after dropping the food all in one go. Dessert was from boxes and was placed with the other food. We were supposed to have 3 tea choices and only got two.
