The coffee and juices are good enough. Worth reviewing though, is the fact the computer room. We were sitting in in the back behind the counter on a couch. We were searching on our laptop when a barista told us to move because they have a special room in the front for computers. There is no sign that says no computers. And there were also 3 empty tables in this no computer room.
Strange to be forced to certain room, but we didn't complain. We immediately closed our computer and talked with our drinks. A few minutes later another customer sits in our same room and opens up a laptop. We joked about the barista having to tell every customer to move.
After finishing our drinks we need to use the computer so we move to the computer room in the front of the cafe. It's one long table (seats 8) with no privacy and three other people sharing it . I can't talk without being heard by every person at the table.
Despite all of this, the reason I'm writing this review is to say that the wifi is terrible. After making us move to a special computer room, we find the speed is so slow because the router is downstairs under the room we were previously in. This is ridiculous. There is a Screenshot of my phone signal. The laptop took forever to connect to the wifi. And my boyfriend's phone won't even connect at all.
I recommend if you go to the length for separating laptops users from the rest of the cafe: 1) have signage, 2) enforce the rules to everyone (we were the only ones asked to move), 3) provide a suitable service worth your trouble and...
Read moreWe visited Drop Coffee with high expectations – the ambiance was stylish and inviting, exactly what you’d hope for in a modern specialty café. Unfortunately, the experience was largely disappointing.
We ordered a cappuccino with oat milk, but it completely lacked the flavor and intensity you’d expect from a place known for high-quality coffee. It tasted almost entirely like warm oat milk, with hardly any trace of actual coffee. That was a real letdown – and sadly, it significantly impacted the overall experience.
The banana bread, on the other hand, was excellent – moist and full of flavor. Definitely the highlight of our visit. The pain au chocolat was okay, but nothing special – a bit dry, lacking the buttery texture we were hoping for.
The atmosphere was great, but the music was far too loud, which made it hard to fully enjoy the space.
All in all, the coffee – being such a central part of the visit – was such a disappointment that it overshadowed the good elements and left us feeling...
Read moreThis was my first visit to this café, and I had high expectations based on the positive Google reviews. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. The atmosphere wasn’t as cozy as the photos suggested, the seating was uncomfortable, and the floor could have been cleaner.
I ordered a cappuccino with a double shot and was genuinely surprised by how small the cup was, especially considering the price—it was the tiniest serving I’ve ever received for that amount. That said, the flavor was actually quite good. Still, the XS-sized mug really took away from the experience.
The service felt impersonal, and the staff seemed too busy to be attentive, which made the whole experience feel a bit cold. It wasn’t terrible overall, but it lacked the warmth and comfort I look for in a café.
I don’t plan to return, as I’ve had better experiences elsewhere in the city. However, I would recommend this place for takeaway if you’re mainly after a good-tasting coffee and don’t mind the small portion...
