Just watched A Christmas Carol at Folkoperan. Marvellous English/Swedish cast. Acting and singing was exceptional. Cast all played their parts perfectly, one moment the audience was laughing and the next crying. The singing was amazing, with all voices complimenting each other. If it wasn't sold out for the run, I would love to have seen it again.

It is a very emblematic place in the city of Stockholm but I was quite surprised by how dirty the main entrance looks, especially next to the marquee that announces the plays of the season, when entering during the day the lobby looks dark and rather careless, if any of your managers read this message I say it with great appreciation: do something about it

Mozart vs Salieri is one of the recent productions showing at Folkoperan. It has a very different feel to other theatres in Stockholm. It is intimate with good acoustics for vocal and instrumental sounds. Wonderful to see a show at !

It’s a beautiful theatre though it has very little room during the break for everyone to move forward to either toilets or lounge (which in fact is hall, passway and café all in one 🧐) Enjoyed the opera played on stage very much!!!
