Half Way Inn — Restaurant in Stockholm

We just arrived im Stockholm, checked in at our hotel and were sooo hungry. Almost everything was already closed past 10 pm. But then we found the half way inn! They served a small choice of pub food and we picked the cheese & bacon burger with fries. We had no expectations, we were just hungry for anything to eat. So we were quite surprised by the quality and size of the meal we got. It seamed really fresh made, nice quality of burger patty and buns! The bacon slices were fat and juicy! We really liked the fries because they were obviously made with unpeeled potatoes, which we always prefer! I give only 4 stars because the price was quite high. We paid about 45€ for 2 burgers with fries and 2 gingerbeers (0,2l). But i guess this are normal...

I had one of my worst experience in Sweden so far. We have been treated badly by a rude "blond hair old woman" who works there. She was extremely disrespectful and physiclphy aggressive and took the beer from our hands. will never go back there again it's not people of color or black people friendly place... Yup I smelled the racism on the air when the only black person in the place been told that they aren't allowed to finish there "non-alcoholic beer" outside meanwhile big number of white old people sitting drinking their beer outside and she didn't say anything to them... This is probably the best pub in Stockholm. I love Stockholm & have visited it over 30 times. Halfway Inn's staff are very welcoming & lovely local customers. Make the effort to say hej (hi) and you'll soon be chatting away as if you were life long friends. The food is surprisingly very good for such a small place.
