Visited this restaurant for a variety of reasons including to get a taste of authentic food.

We tried almost all the vegetarian dishes and definitely found some options we’d come back for. Stand out dishes were the brik cigars, the deep fried cheese and the hummus.

The brik cigars is a type of filo pastry and it was cooked to perfection encasing flavourful mushrooms in a lovely sauce.

The deep fried cheese was similar to halloumi and fried to just the right texture. It was soaked in an orange syrup which had just the right balance of sweet and sharpness to balance the slight saltiness of the cheese.

The place was packed which says something when there is so much competition from neighbouring restaurants.

The service was authentic, honest and he was keen to make sure we left satisfied. It makes a welcome change from staff who think their only role is to get the order to you.

Easy to see why though, great food, excellent service and good value for money.

Highly...

Amazing middle eastern cuisine with a modern twist. The babaganoush offered a balance of sweetness and acidity due to the usage of figs, it pared perfectly with the warm pita bread, which was full of the aroma of wheat. The greasiness of the deep fried cheese was balanced off by the orange syrup. The fish croquettes were crunchy with a combined flavors of saffron and parmigiano, with yogurt sauce to reduce the greasiness. The lamb Kafta was a bit too heavy to my taste, but the creamy texture of tahini matched well with minced lamb, and the flavors were delightful. My personal favorite was the grilled octopus, the flavors of the ocean were well presented and the texture was chewy but tender, the dots of mango amba dressing complemented the sweetness of octopus meat. The only complaint I had was the spaces among seatings were tiny and the tables were small for...

First of all, the service is out of this world. The staff will happily answer any question you have, discuss the food, and make you feel right at home in their restaurant.

Secondly, the food could not have been better. It’s clear that they pay attention to detail and are working hard to deliver superbly prepared dishes that will leave you wanting to come back time and time again! I highly recommend this spot! It’s such a gem that should not be missed. It’s not very often that you end a meal and can’t think of anything that can be improved. That is exactly how we felt...

Mazra’a is an excellent restaurant, the food is very high quality and absolutely delicious. There is a great variety of different dishes and they complement and complete each other in such a way that it all feels cohesive yet vibrant. I can't speak to the authenticity of these dishes but in my opinion they are cooked with great care and high quality ingredients. Adding to the experience is also the wine bar aspect of Mazra’a, it helps elevate the dining and it would not be out of place to pay Mazra’a a visit just for the wine and a little baba ganoush.
