Ring Katarina — Restaurant in Stockholm

This wine bar was one of our favourite meals in Sweden - the plates were all really tasty! You have to get the bread with the spiced butter - it was incredible!! The steak tartare was very nice, as were the cabbage dish and the dessert! The chicken ballotine was our least favourite, but that's against some other outstanding dishes. The staff were really great at helping select a wine - I gave them a broad request and they'd narrow it down to two options to taste for me to then select one. 11/10 experience. While visiting Stockholm, we were looking for a natural wine bar that had a great selection as well as a lovely atmosphere. Ring Katarina was everything we were looking for and more! The friendliest staff (one of the owners—Fredrik—was so personable all night and made us feel right at home), great music, fantastic natural wine/beer selection and the most aesthetic atmosphere. What a wonderful spot! We were helped by Frederick (sp?) and he was the most welcoming, cool and friendly guy we’ve encountered on our trip. Service aside, their wine selection is other-worldly.
