STHLM Tapas — Restaurant in Stockholm

Excellent, food was amazing! We ordered: the meat dish with chimichurri, the dumplings, the charcuterie plate, the manchego cheese, the chicken skewers, sweet potato fries, and the burrata mozzarella cheese.

Everything was cooked really well, but we especially loved the Chimichurri meat dish, the burrata, and the chicken skewers! Simply amazing food, with such rich flavors! Service was relaxed and yet attentive, slight friendly banter really fitting for the atmosphere!

I in customary order was afraid we ordered to little and that we would be left waiting as we ordered seconds, but my wife insisted we have had this discussion so many times, and that we never are able to finish what we order. (We are not big eaters). As much as I hate to admit it, when we finally gave in, the sweet potato fries was almost untouched on the table, although NOT because it wasn’t cooked well or the parm and accompanying sauce wasn’t amazing, we simply did not have any room left for it!

We also drank Cava and drinks with the meal, also selected and mixed really well by the staff!

Sthlm tapas has been booked and favorited in trip advisor for a revisit next time we come all the way down...

Not a proper tapas restaurant. Amongst other things they have burgers and ribs on the menu. But even if it was a proper tapas place I’d not recommend it for a few reasons. Food was not very good - we received one dish I actually spat out, a chicken dish, which is not something I’ve done at a restaurant before. The chicken was extremely dry and over cooked and possibly even old as it had a weird taste. The dishes are small and not meant for sharing which otherwise is the meaning of tapas. We ordered pimentos de pardon and received only six of them - which is far less than at any other tapas place I’ve been too. We ordered the slider, which actually was the best thing we tried, but it was one tiny one to split. So in all dishes were not planned for how many people were to eat them. And for this quality of food and size of dishes it was very overpriced.

What I liked: The staff is efficient and patient. We were a team of 11 people with different choices but they served us well. Some dishes tasted pretty good e.g Fried Dumplings, Goat cheese 3-5 portions amount to a full meal, unless you are a beast 😁

The dampeners: I prefer fish. The dishes 'Cajun Swordfish' and 'Kräftskagen' weren't impressive at all, the former had an overwhelming sour flavour and the fish was chewy(I dunno if this is the characteristics of the fish itself), the latter tasted average The seating could be much more comfortable, we were there for 3h and after an hour or so, I longed for better chairs More than twice, there was an unpleasant, smoky smell that spread across the restaurant. We convinced ourselves that it was from the kitchen but it was unpleasant enough not to be ignored
