Oljebaren Restaurang - Vasastan — Restaurant in Stockholm

Extremely professional and friendly service, super nice decor. Cute outdoor seating area in the back where you can bring your drinks from the bar. Food was really nice, especially the brown butter cauliflower, the thyme focaccia that they serve before dinner, and the fries, which were some of the best I have had in the city. One or two dishes could use improvements and that is my reason for removing 1 star. The asparagus with gruyere cream, for example, was pricy for three spears of asparagus and the cream didn't taste of gruyere, or anything much so we didn't eat it. Nevertheless, I was very surprised that they weren't busy when we were there on a warm Saturday night, at least for the drinks and atmosphere. So if you find yourself wanting to dine out on the weekend, and you haven't booked anywhere, go here. I can't think of anywhere else with this level of quality and service where you can eat spontaneously on a weekend...

Great food and friendly service. Small menu but everything is good. I rate their burger as the best in Stockholm, and I've eaten multiple times at most of the highly ranked burger places (including flippin, lily's, AG, svenska hamburgerköket, Prime, Phil's). Only a limited selection of beers (only one on tap I believe) but they specialise in wine and have a good selection. Difficult to find a better restaurant in this price class...

Excellent! Very Small menu, but super tasty and handmade food! Big offer of several special beers, wines, very cosy, romantic italian atmosphere, friendly and quick staff. Prices are high, but definitely worth it! Here I could imagine a first date/ candle light dinner ;-) If you‘re lucky you get a place on the first floor (balcony), that‘s where I took the...
