Strand 54 — Restaurant in Stockholm

We went there as a family with four, view is nice and in walking distance from Wasa Museum. Service was polite and did well - but glasses, cutlery and tabelcloth were dirty. Beer had no foam. We ordered dishes from the menu, after some minutes the service lady informed us about a delay due to not ready made mashed potatoes. We waited over 40 minutes - fine if the food would have been great - but it wasn’t, and we are not exaggerating here. Simple and incomplete plating, tasteless and greedy. Our server was a very lovely woman who accommodated our picky company. However, the glass of wine I ordered was quite shoddy for the price (~€18). The glass that it came in was dirty and chipped.

After a long day of being on our feet, we just wanted a cup of coffee and wine, so we didn't feel like raising a complaint. But I didn't expect to see such poor crockery at a spot so close to a boating club and the Djurgården.

We heard they had karaoke lined up, which we would've loved to stay for. Hopefully, other have a better experience here...

The best part of this restaurant is the location, with a beautiful view of the canal. The food was absolutely terrible aswell as the service. The waiter stressfully ran back and forth, forgetting cutlery and generally seemed annoyed at our mere presence. We ordered meatballs with mashed potatoes and left very dissapointed. The meatballs aswell as the lingonsylt were store-bought, the kind you grow up on as a kid. The chef tried to hide it behind some slivers of salty brown sauce on top but all in all the quality of the food did not...
