Wow, wow, wow! I'd say Coco&Carmen is one of the top 10 restaurants in Stockholm for the moment. I'm so glad that we got a table now. There was a review in DN about the restaurant and two weeks later after review, Coco&Carmen got fully booked 3 months a head. The set menu and wine pairing are very priceworthy, costs 595 sek each and it's a very good price considering the food and wines you are served. It's a tasting menu so portions are small, but you eat 8 courses (6 main and 2 desserts) over 2 hours and it fills you up at the end of the meal. The choice of wines are also excellent and goes well with the food. A beer, a glass of white gewurtztraimer, two glasses of good quality red wine (burgundy and La tache), a glass of good quality Riesling from Alsace and a glass of traditional Swedish punch. And they serve you a good size and volume of wine! To me it was more than enough. The best with the food was the perfect seasoning and the sauces and emulsions are just perfect. No need to add salt, pepper or anything. I look forward to visit them when they changed the menu!

Read moreThis place was a comedy of errors. I notified restaurant staff I was pregnant and not eating raw food, yet somehow “cured salmon” and “fish roe” didn’t set off any alarms in the kitchen. It took three tries before I finally got a plate that wasn’t trying to sabotage me. Service was equally chaotic—servers flinging down plates like they were auditioning for a frisbee team and whisking dishes away before we’d even put our forks down. The dining room was basically a sauna with candles, which might be romantic if you enjoy sweating through dinner. And the food… Salt is not a personality. The bread and butter were the stars of the meal—which says everything, because I can nail that combo at home...
Read moreFood was great, from what we enjoyed the most to the bread, everything was supreme. Some things were shocking (in a good way) other were simpler but tasteful and original. I'm not a connoisseur nor used to fine or top dining, this was my first time experiencing a dinner like this.
Table time was at 9pm, the whole dinner lasted for about 2.5hs. The place has an amazing vibe and the service was excellent. I went with my partner to celebrate her birthday and they assured to make it an 11/10 experience.
I completely recommend it. Would go again.
PS: Sorry for the lack of pictures, but we were too committed with the situation to remember to...
