Via Vai Ristorante — Restaurant in Stockholm

I was craving Italian and this was the best-rated Italian close to my hotel. As a first-time visitor, I surmise there are two different experiences but I could be wrong—the casual order at the register lunch and the more formal dinner ordering experience. I can only speak to lunch. The person who took my order was friendly and helpful. If you go at lunch there is salad, yummy focaccia, water and tea and even cookies included. I ordered the pasta carbonara. It was good but not great. However, lunchtime had a great atmosphere and if I lived here I could imagine going back and trying a wide range of dishes. Cozy small Italian restaurant. This is one of my favorite choices in my neighborhood. Everything is reasonably priced and quality and taste of food is also. Pizza is great. Pasta also. Seafood pasta, frutti di mare, just as good as in the fancy over priced Italian restaurants in city Centre. I had a tasty scampi pasta with broccoli. Fresh and well presented Carpaccio for starter. I was there for lunch. I got a chicken schnitzel with french fries, aioli and bearnaise för 114kr. It is a normal price for lunch. The portion was generous, especially the sauce! Really nice taste but the schnitzel was a bit oily, not a lot. The grilled beef was juicy. Nice bread with herbs, butter, pizzasallad, coffee and cookies were included!
