We were there earlier tonight to celebrate my daughter who have her birthday today. While this establishment is mainly known as a pub, it did not deter us from coming here just to eat. In fact we had heard from others that one should try the burgers here, so we did. The staff was friendly and serviceminded and we got a table right away after stepping inside of the door. The interior is compact and homely. The orders were done fast and all four of us got our food at the same time. The food was good and a bit spicy. I recon it goes well together with any beer or drink from the veritable smörgÄsbord of alcoholic beverages the pub has to offer.    Read moreWhat a local gem! Very welcoming and friendly pub with a great menu. Inspired not only by a fascinating figure in British history, but clearly by a careful and passionate study of what makes a good British pub, designed for the trendy UppsÄla market. Good beer selection- don't miss the Black Cab Porter. Food is well thought out and utterly delicious. Winston would have loved it. Fish and chips would clean up in Britain, with batter that doesn't slip off or turn into oily gunk. Steak sandwich was a revelation. Absolutely perfect. Whisky selection for the connoisseur, at attractive prices. Service is friendly, approachable, and warm. Aussie fella and Irish lass were charming and very helpful. Atmosphere is fun and warm without being too kitsch. Definitely recommend if you want a great evening. Coming...

There was so much to choose from. Not that I had them, mainly because I drink them at home, but I was pleased to see Fullers ESB and London Pride in here!
Well...
