Pizza and Pasta. Thats their thing. The Pizza is thin crust, really delicious, very well done. Did not try pasta. There was meat on the menu of the day, but that is not why you go to Il Gallo (Not to say that this would not have been excellent). The menu card is not huge. But it has focus, so they know what they want to serve you, and they do the things they offer well. Will go back. Pizza was the best since a year. And I had worse Pizza in Italy. This place features by far the best (Neapolitan) pizza in town.

The price was very good (for Switzerland), with pizzas costing 14-22 CHF.

The place features outside staying, though during hot summer days the cozy indoors is air conditioned through a portable AC unit.

The atmosphere was very friendly with the staff offering us homemade grappa. I'm vegan and so I had to ask for some modifications, which they happily obliged without any problems. That was very much appreciated.

The ABSOLUTE BEST experience! Not only was the food (and limoncello) first rate, we had the best time with the staff and locals at Il Gallo. It is a must!
