UnvermeidBAR — Restaurant in Baden

I understand the cozy and hipster vibe this bar was aiming for. Unfortunately, at least for me, they did not succeed. Or maybe I’m just not leftist/woke enough. It feels like being in an old and slightly smelly and unorganized home. The mixed furniture you sit on is uncomfortable and sometimes so old or low quality that you have to be careful not to get white pants dirty.

The drinks are BAD! Clearly the staff is barely legal, completely clueless girlies who have spent more time on perfecting their eyeliner (it looks good, compliments!) than ever practicing making cocktails. They are not unfriendly, but they are overworked, understaffed, unexperienced and just so so slow. There is only one tiny lady toilet for the whole bar. I dont recommend going here, but if you do, order wine or beer,...

The decor is really nice and the staff friendly. The atmosphere is chill and not loud at all particularly for a cocktail bar. You can also get pizzas that are made by the nearby Italian restaurant which is nice. But the cocktails are a let down. The price is 15 chf and you get something worse than you would at a sweaty crowded generic nightclub. We had 3 cocktails and only the negroni was ok - just ok. The other two were the most watery cocktails i've ever had (grimy night club and overpriced festival...

One of my favourites in town. A cosy caffee with friendly staff where you can relax. Great chocolate cake with excellent different types of tea.

In summer I recommend sitting outside in the sun - in Winter I recommend the second floor with different interesting furniture...
